Wireless Solutions Enhance Business Bottom Line

January 27th, 2012 Comments off

Wireless Toyz, a premier multi-carrier national wireless retailer, offers small business owners a variety of services and support in honor of National Small Business Week (April 21 – 25), recognizing the more than 25 million small business owners in the United States.

With a possible recession on the horizon, many small businesses are seeking ways to increase profitability and cut costs.  Wireless Toyz is extending the nationally recognized Small Business Week to a month-long event packed with special promotions and other offerings to help small business owners save money, time and increase productivity in their businesses.

“As small business owners ourselves, Wireless Toyz understands what challenges a slow economy can bring to operating a business,” said John Corcoran, a franchisee and wireless expert. “During this tough economic time, we can offer small businesses wireless advice, tools, products and plans to run their operations more efficiently and productively –ultimately saving time and money.”

Mr. Corcoran recently saved a Tampa-area business $16,000 annually on their 14-line cell phone plan. Wireless Toyz’ wireless experts regularly work with businesses to save them money.  Another expert recently saved a Sacramento-area company $3,360 annually on their multi-line cell phone plan.

Here are three ways small businesses can save now on wireless costs:

  • Provide employees their own company phones

This might be counter-intuitive to most business owners, but according to a survey by In-Stat, the time an employee spends on paperwork and related tasks surrounding cell phone reimbursement exceeds the cost a business might pay on personal calls made on a company-provided phone.

  • Analyze company’s current phone plan

Wireless Toyz has been helping small businesses navigate the complex world of wireless – from monthly minutes to data packages. The retailers work with a local businesses to evaluate their monthly bill and was help save them money. Wireless Toyz has an in-store bill analysis tool that allows them to evaluate monthly cell phone bills (regardless of carrier plan or service provider) and provide personalized tips on ways to save money.

  • Consider going to an unlimited wireless plan

As people do more with their phones (e.g. emails, text messages, web access, and music / game downloading, etc.), the monthly costs can quickly get out of control. This may also be of interest in light of the new “unlimited” calling and data plans being offered by Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, and other wireless service providers.

In addition, throughout the month of May, participating Wireless Toyz retailers will offer special discounts and incentives to local small businesses.

  • Make an appointment for your business with a Wireless Toyz expert and receive a free Bluetooth® headset
  • Wireless Toyz’ certified wireless experts will analyze your business’ current wireless plan and develop a customized solution to save your company money on its monthly phone bills and discuss your ongoing account management
  • If your small business activates five wireless lines or more, you’ll receive a free PDA handset.

To find a local Wireless Toyz retailer, visit, or request that you be contacted by a Wireless Toyz Expert to schedule an appointment at your business’ location to discuss your wireless options.
